Office Manager

Taikura Rudolf Steiner School, Hastings

As a strong community comprising three kindergartens and an area school (Year 2 – 13), we seek an enthusiastic and experience administration manager to join our administration and support staff team. This is a permanent, full time position and applicants must be available to work through term breaks. Experience in management is essential as this position requires a myriad of skills from the successful applicant. Whilst experience in Steiner education is not essential, an interest in and openness to learning about the education is essential. Guidance Counsellor

As an area school with a growing high school of 130 students, we seek a suitably qualified and experienced Guidance Counsellor to join our pastoral care team. This is a permanent, part time position. Whilst experience in Steiner education is not essential, an interest in and openness to learning about the education is essential. Principal

Taikura Rudolf Steiner School, Hastings

Our Principal will be leaving us at the end of term one next year and we are seeking the right person to fill this pivotal role.  We are looking for someone who will actively carry Steiner Waldorf Education in heart and in mind and who will continue to keep the school fresh, alive and evolving within the cultural, historical, educational and geographic environment of Aotearoa New Zealand and  particularly the Hawke’s Bay.

We seek a skilled leader and communicator who can work collaboratively to provide a living connection to the school’s special character by:

Creating clarity, articulating direction, values and priorities so there is certainty and engagement

Showing warmth, interest, empathy and connection across a broad diversity of individuals and groups

Generating enthusiasm and directing energy especially as changes and developments happen.
